Breathe aims to provide a unique experience of God through interactive worship. The programme includes challenges, games, drama, music and talky bits. It is aimed at churched and unchurched young people and looks to provide each individual with a relevant encounter with God. It typically runs from 7-8:30pm, and is followed by the optional Exhale until 9pm.

Each Breathe event is held in a different area of the rural North East each month, with occasional events in Aberdeen city. Churches in Angus also run an event called Gener8 with a similar style and age range to Breathe; currently this alternates between Arbroath and Montrose on a monthly basis. Breathe is organised and run by a team of volunteers, and within the next couple of months the NESYFC will have an exclusive rundown on who they are and what makes them tick.
