Welcome to the website of North East Scotland Youth for Christ! YFC is one of Britain's most dynamic Christian organisations dedicated to tackling the big issues facing young people in our society today. We are a chartered local centre of British YFC, charged with the mission to take the Good News relevantly to every young person in North East Scotland. From Elgin to Montrose we work directly with young people through events like Breathe and in partnership with local churches by supplying resources and training.

Below is a list of the available dates. It's first come first served, so please let us know as soon as you can which date you would like. There's only space for one event each month, but both the Saturday and the Sunday dates are listed so that you can choose which is most convenient to you and your young folk.

We have an urgent need to fill a number of vacancies within our core team to help our work continue. Please consider getting involved - it's a way to see God at work with young people in the North East and is a great chance to grow in your own faith as well as serving.
There are two positions on our executive committee (board of trustees): Volunteer Co-ordinator and Publicity Co-ordinator. Aside from monthly meetings, each of these jobs only take up a few hours a month and other members of the exec will be on hand to offer support to help people settle in. You can get a poster with more detail on each of the jobs here.

Cage ministry to launch on 16th June 2012
We're excited to announce the impending launch of our own cage football ministry, in the summer of next year. This builds on the success of two visits by British YFC's NOMAD team and our own use of a borrowed cage for summer mission in Buckie a couple of years ago.
