A key aspect of our mission is working with young people directly, normally in partnership with churches in a particular area. This has seen us working in schools and community drop-ins as well as engaging in detached street work.

One of the most exciting initiatives we are currently working on is a partnership with churches in Mastrick and Northfield in Aberdeen, which will see Christians working with young people in the community there. Currently a steering group comprising members of local churches and NESYFC is meeting regularly to pray for this work and see it put into action. We're currently aiming to see a team of gap year volunteers working in schools and the wider community by late 2008.
