What's your full name? Catriona MacKenzie Lawson What's your daytime job? Part time General Practitioner (doctor). What's your role within NESYFC? Volunteer coordinator. Can you tell us about your family - wife/husband, any children? It was through volunteering with NESYFC that I met my lovely husband- Dave. We’ve been married since 1997. We have a dog called Molly. I also have two wonderful nieces and a brand new nephew whom I can borrow. Which church are you a part of? Methlick Parish Church . I help with 7-Up club for P7 and older children and sing in the choir. How did you become a Christian? I grew up knowing about God and prayed to Jesus when I was a young child. When I was a teenager I questioned whether science had disproved God. In the end I asked God to prove He existed and He answered by giving me faith and helping me worship Him. Since then I have found that God is faithful in all He’s promised to me in the Bible and in prophecy over my life. What do you enjoy most about being involved with NESYFC? The people. Every time I see someone doing something new, something they said they would be afraid to do I’m so thankful to God for the work he is doing through YFC. I see our volunteers growing in faith and character through their work with us and then moving on taking their experience and talents to new areas of God’s work. What excites you most about God? He has a good plan for each and every one of us, and we will see the whole story when we have lived it out in full. What is your favourite fruit? I could fancy an apple just now.Â
