We're happy to announce a change in roles amongst our staff. In recognition of his increasing input into the vision and development of NESYFC's ministry, our part-time outreach worker Steven Hamilton is now working as Centre Director. Our exec committee will continue to keep up the administrative side of things so Steven is able to keep working directly with young people for most of his time, but the new role allows him freedom to shape the work as God leads him. Please pray for Steven as he takes on this additional responsibility, and for the rest of the NESYFC team, as we support him in the role and obediently seek God's will for ways to reach more young people better.

Commenting on the new role, Steven said:

"I feel this is the right way to move in being more deliberately the missional arm of the church to young people. I really look forward to

- finding out how to support and equip churches in their youth outreach,
- praying for them and
- providing them a good example with our work in the shire."

We're pleased that Matthew Laurenson of Deeside Christian Fellowship Church has joined our exec team to help with fund raising; please pray for him in this new role. Please note the remaining vacancies in our core and wider team, detailed at the foot of our home page.

Changing roles

We're sad to announce that Gillian Douglas has stepped down from the role of line manager for Steven due to increasing work commitments. We're really grateful for all the help and input she's given us over the past year and wish her God's blessing as she moves on.

Also due to changes at work taking up more time, Dan Pearson has swapped roles to take on some of our publicity; Alasdair Brownlee has taken over as chairperson.

Please pray for everyone in their new roles, and that God continues to bring forward new people to keep the ministry going forward.

In an answer to prayer, we now have a volunteer for the post of treasurer. We're grateful to Tom Cowie (Deeside Christian Fellowship Church) for coming forward and are looking forward to his help on our team. There are still three other core team vacancies, detailed further down our home page, as well as opportunities on the Breathe team and in other aspects of our work. If you'd like to be serve as part of this rewarding and mission-focused ministry please get in touch.

We're happy to announce that we’ve taken on a new administrator - Casely Adiele - to take care of our office work. Casely is a member of King’s Community Church in Aberdeen and has a real passion for God’s work. Please pray for her in this important role.
